PRELIM: Statement of Intent

I have been tasked to produce a fashion magazine for ages 14-18 and I will target mine around females.
Through out my magazine, I will be including media language through camerawork, the help of editing and mis en scène (what is put in the frame or scene).
The Camera angles and camera shots I may use for my front page is a long shot due to the fact that its a fashion magazine and therefore the clothes should be shown. In the research I conducted, I found out that people mostly would buy the magazine for the beauty of both the model and the magazine itself. My target audience would also read the magazine for the trends that they could relate to and that they like and that is why I have chosen a young beautiful model. She will be wearing casual but appealing clothes which is one of the most common types of clothes that teenagers wear. I have chosen 2 backgrounds that i may use. 1 of them is that I have my model in the middle of a nature scenery as it creates a sense of welcoming spring. The second background I have thought about has been inspired by a magazine of Zendaya where she is has been featured in front of a whit background. This has given me an idea of my model slightly leaning against a white wall showing her clothes that she is wearing.
I also had an idea of using a medium shot or medium close up of the model as it will able the reader to see some of her facial features as well as her clothes. The angle I will us will be quite low as it will give the model a sense of authority and dominance. This will relate to my model as teenagers are thought to think of themselves as authoritative. My model will also relate to my mast head which is Modeste as she will be covered with no male gaze. Modeste is French for modest. The use of french  often connotes a sense of sophistication which will link with my model as she is in her middle teens and is starting to become a little more mature.
My colour scheme will follow convention which is black and white and 1 more colour; maybe gold or bronze. This will also reflect a sense of maturity as well as power.
